Once again, the guy behind WallStats.com brings you a visual guide of a current financial/economic crisis. Over at Mint.com, he offers a visual guide to understanding the Fall of GM.
In recent weeks, GM has been making a last-ditch effort to deal with its mounting problems and somehow escape bankruptcy. And to add a little dash of ‘holy crap we’re not out of the woods yet’…
Even with the announcement today that 7,600 workers volunteered for the job buyout program, the March 31st deadline for key concessions from the union workers and bondholders is still looming large.

could that car succeed in the US? I don’t know if it would be a blockbuster but I think its already being tried with the Smartcar for 2.
Plus to get that car to be sold here it would undergo stricter safety and environment regs.
It reminds me of Subaru’s first foray into the US with the 360.
Tad… you’re right, I had totally forgotten. I called up the nearest dealership and they claim there’s a really long waiting list to buy a SMART Car right now.
Whenever I think of American’s adopting hybrids or more energy efficient cars… i think of this cartoon: http://simplecomplexity.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/hummercartoon1c.jpg
