An operations display at the Large Haldron Collider (LHC) Compact Muon Solenoid Experiment (CMS).

This is one of the main operations displays for CMS, one of the five detectors at the LHC. It’s mainly concerned with handling the massive amounts of data from the various sensor arrays.

From the graph at the bottom you can see an increase in counts which corresponds with the first continuous loop of the beam.
