Another GOOD Magazine Transparency takes a look at the racial breakdown of four major sports. (Sorry, hockey fans.)
It’s baseball season again, but what you might not notice amid the crack of the bat and roar of the crowd is that—a half-century after Jackie Robinson’s historic entrance into the game—the number of black players is at the lowest level in almost 20 years.

Great Infographic, but unfortunalty I am a hockey fan (although to be fair I think the racial breakdown of the NHL would be rather boring to look at, done by nationality however would be another story)
Not too sure I’m too crazy about the American Football bit of the infographic though, not as nicely put together as the rest IMO
Nice looking infographic. The only problem is that there is no such thing as a Hispanic race. So when you say that the number of Black players in MLB is at an all time low, I think that you are referring to African-American players. Clearly there is no shortage of Black players from the Caribbean. Being Hispanic does not mean that you’re not Black. It just means that you’re from an ex-colony of Spain or Portugal.
